Performance conversations can be a
terrifying ordeal for many of us. Whether you’re a
solid performer or someone who sometimes struggles, we often turn up feeling uneasy,
anxious or a bit defensive, even if we know there’s no need. You’d think this
paranoia only pertains to poor performers – but even high performers can tend
to shy away from them. A Ideally, appraising performance is

Making Performance Conversations Work for You Half-day Sessions for
STAFF… Most
performance conversations training is for leaders.
But to work well, performance conversations should be two-way. These half-day
sessions attempt to level the playing field by helping staff understand what
a good performance conversation should be like, and equipping them with tools
to engage more positively and constructively in the process. Sessions are based around 12 Positive Performance
Conversations Pointers that are compatible with a
footings and frameworks model we cover with leaders doing our leaders’
